Tal Panorama

This is a cubic panorama generated at the fifth camp at Tal further up the Marsyangdi Khola. The initial view is looking upstream toward our next camp which was up the valley to the left. To the north are the peaks of Manaslu. The gorge here is a steep sided river valley with limited views to east and west.

All these panoramas were rendered in World Construction set 6 with a landsat overlay. The data is 90m DEMS patched by Jonathan de Ferranti (see "Rendered Hills" page).Use the mouse to swing the camera around and <Shift> and <Ctrl> to zoom in and out. The buttons along the bottom allow for these actions as well as auto rotate and the button to the right will give a very good full screen view, in this mode use the buttons for zooming. IE does not seem to handel this as well as Firefox3. The compass in the top right also shows the field of view. The output was generated with Pano2VR from Gardengnomesoftware.
